he spoke to me the other day. it rained & he was soaked. & as i neared him for the first time, he asked me for my sandwich. i, unfortunately, was struck speechless! how very embarrassing, yes? oh, yes. i sigh. but... he touched my fingers with his, & i was quite shocked at the warmth he gave off, for he was dripping wet. it was a very tender moment & i will always remember it.
